While we take every reasonable precaution to protect the information on your device, Computers Plus, Inc. cannot guarantee that data stored on a device will be preserved during diagnosis or repair. Unforeseen circumstances, including pre-existing hardware failure, storage or logic board faults, required component replacement, software restoration, or a device reset performed as part of the repair, can result in partial or complete data loss. Customers are solely responsible for backing up their data before drop-off, and Computers Plus, Inc. is not liable for any loss of data. Our data service is limited to device-to-device transfer: we do not copy or retain customer files, and we do not offer data recovery.

Gaming PCs are more advanced systems that often require extensive diagnostics, compatibility testing and performance verification. Some gaming PC repairs may require additional time beyond our standard 3–5 business day turnaround.

Turnaround & Express Service
Standard Service: 3–5 Business Days
Most repairs are completed within 3–5 business days after diagnostic approval and parts availability. Some advanced repairs, special-order parts and gaming system repairs may require additional time.
Express Service: Double the Standard Repair Rate
Need your device repaired faster? Express Service may be available for qualifying repairs and receives priority scheduling. Express Service is offered only when technician workload, repair complexity and parts availability permit. Availability is not guaranteed.
Repair Policies
Estimate & Inspection Fee
Estimate/inspection fee: $49 minimum for non-Apple devices and out-of-warranty Apple devices. It goes toward the repair if you approve it, and is due at pickup if you decline. It does not apply to Apple devices covered by Apple’s warranty or AppleCare.
Warranty
PC, laptop and other non-Apple hardware repairs, and Xbox and PlayStation hardware repairs, carry a limited 30-day parts and labor warranty.
Apple repairs aren’t covered by our 30-day policy. They come with Apple’s 90-day repair warranty: the repair work and the parts used are covered for 90 days from the date of service, and batteries installed in a Mac laptop battery replacement are covered for 1 year. See Apple’s repair terms.
Our warranty doesn’t cover new or unrelated issues, or additional physical damage after the repair.
Warranty repairs must be accompanied by proof of purchase.
Unclaimed Equipment
Equipment not picked up within 30 days of our completion notice becomes the property of Computers Plus, Inc.

Do I need an appointment to drop off?
Repairs are handled in store, so just bring your device to 301 RHL Boulevard Suite 2, Charleston, WV 25309, Monday–Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.
When will I know the final price?
Final repair pricing is determined after diagnosis, and no repair work is performed until you approve the quoted price.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash and credit and debit cards. Schools can also pay with a school purchase order.
Do repairs come with a warranty?
PC, laptop and other non-Apple hardware repairs, and Xbox and PlayStation hardware repairs, carry a limited 30-day parts and labor warranty. Virus and malware removal includes one warranty return visit. Reinfection after that visit isn’t covered, since a computer can be reinfected through everyday browsing. Apple repairs aren’t covered by our 30-day policy. They come with Apple’s 90-day repair warranty: the repair work and the parts used are covered for 90 days from the date of service, and batteries installed in a Mac laptop battery replacement are covered for 1 year.
